World Heritage Ha Long Bay :
2 days on the worlds most remarkable seascape
Overnight on a wooden junk (with all modern conveniences); exploring caves and caverns; seafood meals plucked fresh from the bay, then back to Hanoi to board the evening flight to Hue .

Central Vietnam – Hue , Hoi An and My Son:
3 days, mostly cycling
After cycling through Hue 's rural villages towards the Thanh Toan Bridge and a local market you'll be ready for lunch. Next you pass the Imperial Citadel, explore a couple of ‘garden houses', visit Thien Mu Pagoda, cross the river by boat to ride Hue's hinterland before looping back to your hotel in time for a traditional meal based on classic Hue cuisine.
On the following morning, you'll cycle along picturesque peninsula shaded by coconut palms to cross the Perfume River ferry to the coast. Then, after splashing in the azure waters of Lang Co beach and seafood lunch, you'll be ready for the views from Hai Van Pass and the route to Ancient Town of Hoi An.
The next day is based around Hoi An, the Thu Bon River and the My Son Sanctuary with plenty to see and time to laze on the beach or shop in the quaint streets of the Ancient Town

Down the coast from My Lai to Nha Trang:
3 days, nearly all cycling
The latter part of the route mostly runs alongside the South China Sea through small communities and striking views of the surrounding countryside passing My Lai , the site of the infamous massacre during the war. From there, the roads meander through fishing villages, small towns and Quy Nhon and Thu Yen, the only cities of any size but seldom visited. Much of the route runs beside the Reunification Express railway with the inland backgrounds of the gently rolling hills of the Highland foothills.
Eventually, the ‘off the beaten track' route begins to converge with the highway as Nha Trang , Vietnam 's busiest coastal resort. From there, the final destination looms ahead with the prospect of a well-deserved rest!

Phan Thiet Town and Mui Ne Beach: 3 Days
Relaxing on a palm-fringed coral sand beach with good restaurants, rolling dunes is your reward. There's even a good golf course available in nearby Phan Thiet. Plenty of time to reminiscence about your experiences as you wind down.

Departure
After breakfast, you'll be anticipating your flight home. The journey to Ho Chi Minh City is quite lengthy, about four hours, but the road has enough interest to avoid boredom.

At the time of quotation, Haivenu reserves the right to adjust prices to take account of unusual movements in currency markets, hotel and transport costs as a result of inflationary price pressures in oil and other commodity markets.
