Thailand Family Adventure 16 Days

TOUR PROGRAMME

Day 1:
Arrival in Bangkok, chauffeured transfer to your hotel with time to refresh yourself, and dinner aboard a Chao Phraya River cruise.
Day 2:
Explore Bangkok’s Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha, Temple of Dawn and Golden Buddha Temple, with a long-tail boat ride for a water-front view of the city.
Day 3:
Tour Damnern Saduak floating market by long-tail boat, visit Kanchanaburi to see the Bridge over the River Kwai, ‘death railway’ and stop by Tiger Temple.
Day 4:
Drive to Khao Yai National Park, view the daily phenomenon of bats emerging from a cave and GO on a night safari tour to see some of the park’s more reclusive inhabitants.
Day 5:
Take a guided trek through the jungle with opportunities to see macaques, gibbons and local bird and plant life, and after lunch have time to relax or take a swim.
Day 6:
ay 6: Drive to Bangkok Airport for your flight to Chiang Mai, on arrival visit Wat Prathat atop Doi Suthep Mountain overlooking the area, and explore Chiang Mai town.
Day 7:
Take a jungle trek riding a gentle giant at the Elephant Camp in Mae Sa, meet and learn about local hill-tribes at Baan Tong Luang, kick back on a bamboo raft trip floating down-river, and explore an orchid farm before returning to Chiang Mai for the night.
Day 8:
Free day for you to explore the laid-back charms of Chiang Mai.
Day 9:
Take a ‘Flight of the Gibbon’ zipline tour through the forest canopy, enjoy a river tour via bamboo raft, and visit caves and shrines around Chiang Dao Mountain.
Day 10:
Drive through rugged mountains, visit the scenic Tha Ton Temple, tour the Opium House Museum at the Golden Triangle and spend the night in Chiang Rai.
Day 11:
Tour the bucolic Thai countryside by bicycle, passing fields, orchards, hill-tribe villages and a waterfall, with a short nature hike and time to relax at the end of the day.
Day 12:
Transfer from your hotel to Chiang Rai Airport to fly to Bangkok and on to Krabi, where you’ll be met and brought to your resort.
Day 13:
Go island-hopping by speedboat, visiting Phra Nang Cave, Tup Island, Chicken Island, Poda Island and Princess Cave; swim, snorkel, sunbathe and smile all day.
Day 14:
Tour Phang Nga Bay, stopping by the national park, mangrove swamp, sea gypsy village and ‘James Bond Island’.
Day 15:
Kick back on the beach and enjoy Krabi; today is your free time.
Day 16:
After breakfast, you’ll be free until your car arrives for transfer to the airport for your flight to Bangkok in time to connect with your departing international flight.
