Thailand Honeymoon Vacation 12 Days

TOUR PROGRAMME

Day 1:
Arriving at Bangkok airport, you’ll be greeted and driven to your hotel, with time to settle in and relax before enjoying a session of spa treatments for honeymooners at Health Land Spa, one of the capital’s premier wellness centres, relieving the stresses of the flight and rejuvenating you to enjoy your honeymoon to the full.
Day 2:
Today, you’ll have a guided tour of Bangkok, visiting its cultural and historic highlights and enjoy a long-tail boat ride of its canals. In the evening, you’ll have some world class dining on the sky terrace at the Sirocco Restaurant, overlooking the city from the luxurious ambience of the tallest open air restaurant in the world.
Day 3:
Today, you’ll head down to the Chao Phraya riverbank to board your cruise vessel, a luxurious, lavishly equipped and tastefully restored rice barge for your cruise upriver to Ayutthaya, where your vessel will berth for the night, with a fine dinner on board.
Day 4:
Today, you’ll disembark your cruise boat to visit the ruined splendour of ancient Ayutthaya, once the capital of Siam and the most culturally sophisticated of contemporary civilisations, and now a UNESCO World Heritage site. After the days sightseeing, you’ll return to your vessel for dinner and a convivial evening before retiring to bed on-board.
Day 5:
After a morning visit to Bang Pa In, the former Royal Summer House, you’ll be driven to visit Bangsai art village and its skilled artisans, before heading to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai and your next hotel.
Day 6:
This morning, you’ll climb aboard a local truck, travelling to the nearby town of Phrao to visit the market and select ingredients for your Thai cooking class. After preparing and dining on your creation, you’ll travel by bicycle to Aui Kham House to learn about herbal medicine and traditional cures, before returning to Chiang Mai.
Day 7:
Today, you’ll travel to Mae Sa Elephant Camp, where you’ll be able to observe the elephants engaged in their work, before enjoying the fun of an elephant ride through the forest. A pick-up truck ride to the village of Baan Tong Luang will introduce you to the four ethnic hill tribes who inhabit the area to learn of their way of life and traditions. After an outdoor lunch overlooking the rice fields, a bamboo raft will take you downriver to an orchid farm before dining at the Mahanaga boutique restaurant.
Day 8:
Your time will be free in Chiang Mai until your driver takes you to the airport for your flight, via Bangkok, to Krabi on the west coast of Thailand’s southern peninsula, where you’ll be met and driven to your beach resort.
Day 9:
Your time will be free at leisure to enjoy the delights of the landscape, beach and sea of your resort in your own style, with a romantic private candlelit dinner on the beach included.
Day 10:
Your time will be free at leisure to enjoy the delights of the landscape, beach and sea of your resort in your own style, with a romantic private candlelit dinner on the beach included.
Day 11:
Your time will be free at leisure to enjoy the delights of the landscape, beach and sea of your resort in your own style, with a romantic private candlelit dinner on the beach included.
Day 12:
Your time will be free until your driver takes to the airport for your onward or departure connection.
