Thailand Culinary Journey 8 Days

Day 1:
Arriving at Bangkok Airport, you’ll be welcomed and chauffeured to your city centre hotel.
Day 2:
A walking tour of Bangkok will introduce you to some of Bangkok’s finest street food, followed by a boat trip along the waterways of the Chao Phraya and a tuk tuk ride to enjoy close-up views of the thrumming heart of the city.
Day 3:
A cookery class will reveal the secrets of Thai flavours and later a bicycle ride through Lumphini Park will find you in Chinatown to sample the unique variety of tastes to be found here.
Day 4:
The architectural stimulation of the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya set the scene for today after which if the snacks of the local market haven’t got the better of your appetite, you’ll have the oportunity to savour the delights of Royal Thai cuisine.
Day 5:
Arriving by train in Chiang Mai, you can enjoy the local breakfast dishes before a relaxed rural cycling tour. Later, you’ll visit the night market for a taste of Northern Thai Lanna cuisine.
Day 6:
A culinary class in the surrounding countryside will further enhance your knowledge of Thai cookery, with the rest of the day at leisure in Chiang Mai.
Day 7:
Today’s cooking class tackles true home style Thai cooking, while as evening decends, a luxurious six course feast, prepared by Thai celebrity chef Sompon, will delight your senses.
Day 8:
After breakfast, you’ll be free until your car arrives for your flight back Bangkok and your onward connection or departure.
