Glimpses of Bhutan 5 Days

Day 1:
Arriving at Paro Airport, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel, with time to settle in before visiting the National Museum and Paro Dzong.
Day 2:
In the morning, you’ll be driven to Thimpu, and check-in to your hotel, before a sightseeing tour of the country’s capital city, including visits to the Memorial Chorten, the Zorig Chosum Painting Institute, Folk Heritage Museum and Dupthob Lhakhang.
Day 3:
After breakfast, you’ll travel over Dochu La pass, at an altitude of 3,100 metres (10,170 feet), where, if the weather is fine, you’ll enjoy views of the Bhutanese Himalaya, before descending through the rhododendron forests to Punakha, and your next hotel. After lunch, you’ll visit a private temple and later try your hand at archery, Bhutan’s national sport.
Day 4:
In the morning, you’ll have a short 45 minute hike through the beautiful countryside to Khamsum Yuelay Namgyal Chorten, overlooking the valley, and later visit Punakha Dzong, before the drive back to your Paro hotel.
Day 5:
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the airport for your onward or departure flight.
