Custom Southern Vietnam and Cambodia

Day 1:
On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and relax, spending the night in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2:
From Ho Chi Minh City, drive out into the Mekong Delta. Moving by boat and bicycle, visit the local sights and then explore Tan Phong Island with the friendly locals before settling in to Mekong Ecolodge for the night.
Day 3:
Drive further into the Mekong Delta to reach Can Tho City and visit Munir Ansay, an ancient Khmer pagoda known for its intricate decorations illustrating Angkor architecture.
Day 4:
Board your boat and explore Can Tho’s floating markets in the early morning to view the vibrant activity on the water, and later in the day transfer for Chau Doc.
 
Day 5:
Travel by speedboat up the Mekong River into Cambodia, and upon reaching Phnom Penh you’ll have some time to explore before the end of the day.
 
Day 6:
Tour the National Museum featuring the legendary 'Leper King’ statue, the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom, then learn about the country’s more recent tragic history by visiting the Tuol Sleng Prison (S-21) and the Killing Fields at Choeun Ek.
 
Day 7:
Fly to Siem Reap and begin your exploration of the Temples of Angkor at the Roluos Group, the first major capital of Angkor, viewing Preah Ko, Bakong temple-mountain and Lolei Temple, located in the middle of what was a reservoir.
 
Day 8:
Visit Angkor Thom, including the Bayon and the Elephant and Leper King Terraces, as well as Baphuon Temple and the famously jungle-clad Ta Prohm. Finally, explore Angkor Wat itself, the largest and perhaps most impressive temple, where you can enjoy the sunset.
Day 9:
Today view the intricate carvings of classical Khmer art at Banteay Srey Temple and Bantey Samre, then board a boat to Tonle Sap Lake and visit Kompong Pluk ‘floating village’ where you can paddle a dugout canoe through the nearby flooded forest.
Day 10:
Your free day in Siem Reap to do whatever strikes your fancy.
 
Day 11:
Free time at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your departing flight.
