Borneo Survival Tour 13 Days

Day 1:
Arriving at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, you’ll be greeted and driven to your hotel.
Day 2:
This morning, you’ll be driven to Kudat, on the northern tip of Borneo to meet the Rungus people where you’ll stay in their traditional stilted Longhouse and experience their way of life.
Day 3:
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Kinabalu Park for a walk along its forest trail and visit its mountain gardens. You’ll stay overnight in the Kinabalu Rose Cabin Hotel.
Day 4:
In the morning, you’ll visit Poring Hot Springs for a hot spring bathe and stroll the 41m high elevated rainforest canopy walkway for an interesting perspective of the forest. In the afternoon, you’ll return to the Rose Cabin Hotel.
Day 5:
Today, you’ll travel to the mountain village of Kiau, nestled in the foothills of Mount Kinabalu for a trek into the splendid upland primary forest and mountain scenery to Miki Jungle Survival Camp, where you’ll discover jungle survival techniques, spending the night in the camp.
Day 6:
In the morning, you’ll trek back from the camp and be driven to Sabah Tea Garden, an organic tea plantation, in scenic surroundings, staying the night at one of its bungalows.
Day 7:
In the morning, you’ll travel to Sandakan, and on to the Sepilok Nature Resort for check-in, with the remainder of the day free to enjoy your forest surroundings, perhaps visiting the orchid garden and having an evening walk in search of wildlife.
Day 8:
Today, you’ll visit the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, to observe the daily feeding of these marvellous and iconic creatures, before heading to Labuk Bay Proboscis Sanctuary to view the Proboscis Monkeys in their natural habitat. Later, you’ll be driven to Sandakan and your hotel.
Day 9:
Today, you’ll be taken to the airport in Sandakan for your flight to Kota Kinabalu, where you’ll be met and driven to your hotel.
Day 10:
After spending the morning at leisure in Kota Kinabalu, you’ll visit the Klias Wetland Reserve, to explore the mangrove wildlife, with the opportunity to spot the Proboscis Monkeys, Long-tailed Macaques and Silver Langurs who share this area with a rich variety of birdlife, spending the night in the Borneo Proboscis River Lodge.
Day 11:
In the morning, you’ll journey to Kuala Penyu and take a boat ride to Pulau Tiga, checking-in to the resort, before a jungle trail to see its Giant Monitors Lizards.
Day 12:
In the morning, a trip to Snake Island will GO in search of its snake species, returning to Pulau Tiga for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 13:
Today you’ll return to the mainland and Kota Kinabalu airport for your flight to Kuala Lumpur and your onward connection or departure flight.
