Myanmar Overview 8 Days

Day 1:
Arriving at Yangon International Airport, You’ll be met and driven to your hotel, with time to settle in before an introductory sightseeing tour of the former capital.
Day 2:
In the morning, you’ll be driven to the airport for your flight to Bagan. Upon arrival. You’ll be taken to Nyaung Oo Market to imbibe the atmosphere of local life, before visiting Thatbyinnyu Temple and Shwesandaw Pagoda.
Day 3:
After breakfast, you’ll be driven south for an excursion to Mount Popa, to visit the volcano and climb the 777 steps to Tuung Kalat, sitting atop a volcanic plug, returning to Bagan in the afternoon.
Day 4:
In the morning, you’ll catch the flight to Mandalay, and be driven to the ancient capital of Amarapura for a sightseeing tour before checking in at your Mandalay hotel. In the afternoon, you’ll have a tour of Mandalay, visiting the grounds of the Royal Palace, Mahamuni Pagoda, Kuthodaw Pagoda and the Golden Palace Monastery.
Day 5:
In the morning, you’ll fly to Heho, from where you’ll be driven to Inle Lake and board a long-tail boat to travel over the lake to your hotel. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, Phaungdawoo Pagoda and local villages and their floating gardens.
Day 6:
Today, you’ll enjoy a boat trip of the lake visiting the ‘five day’ market, Indein Village and follow a canal to a Pa O tribe village and the 13th century monastery with its ‘forest’ of stupas.
Day 7:
In the morning, you’ll be taken to the airport for the return flight to Yangon, where you’ll visit the Karaweik Golden Barge for its views of the Pilgrim’s causeway across the Royal lake and Shwedagon Pagoda, before visiting Bogyoke Aung San Market and the old colonial district.
Day 8:
In the morning, you’ll be driven to the airport for your onward or departure flight.
