Day 1:
Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a performance of traditional Water Puppetry for a light-hearted introduction to Vietnamese culture.

Day 2:
Explore Hanoi at your own pace with your guide, choosing the sites that interest you from the many possibilities, including Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter and the Temple of Literature.

Day 3:
After breakfast, travel to the coast to board your cruise of the stunning natural wonder of Ha Long Bay, staying on board overnight.


Day 4:
After spending the night on board, stop by an island during the morning’s cruise and return to dock around noon, then transfer back to Hanoi with time to refresh yourself at your hotel before boarding an overnight sleeper train to Lao Cai.

Day 5:
From Lao Cai station you’ll be driven up to Sapa and enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant, with the rest of the day free to explore.
 
Day 6:
Today is your free time; enjoy the incredible views and many attractions that this mountain retreat has to offer, or simply take a short trek out of town.

Day 7:
Today, transfer by car back to Hanoi and spend one more night in the bustling heart of the nation’s capital.

Day 8:
Rise early to catch your flight to Dong Hoi, where you’ll visit the natural wonders of Phong Nha Cave and Paradise Cave, at the close of the day transferring on to Hue for the night.
Day 9:
Cruise the Perfume River to see the Thien Mu Pagoda, two of the royal tomb compounds, and return to Hue to visit one of city’s unique ‘garden houses’.

Day 10:
Stroll the Citadel of Hue before heading out by road across scenic Hai Van Pass, through Danang to reach Hoi An, where you’ll have a guided tour of the Ancient Town.
Day 11:
Enjoy a free day strolling the streets of Hoi An, or spending a few hours at Cua Dai Beach just 3 km away.

Day 12:
Your time is free until your transfer to Danang Airport and flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Check in to your hotel and take time for an evening walk around the city centre.

Day 13:
Take in the sights of Vietnam’s largest city; colonial remnants, Chinatown, temples, and wind down the day exploring the lively Ben Thanh Market.

Day 14:
You will be free at leisure until its time for your transfer by private car to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departing flight.
