F1 Series: Land and Sea Discovery 10 days

Day 1:
Arriving at Noi Bai Airport, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel, with time to settle in before enjoying a performance of Vietnam’s traditional Water Puppets.

 

Day 2:
Today, you’ll explore Vietnam’s capital, starting with some early morning Tai Chi at Hoan Kiem Lake. Your tour of Hanoi will continue, visiting some of its most iconic sights, including the Temple of Literature and the Old Quarter, but also give you a feel for real local lfe, immersing yourself in the areas not normally frequented by tourists.

 

Day 3:
In the morning, you’ll be driven to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, for check in at the Retreat. In the afternoon, you’ll discover the soul of Vietnam’s rural life, visiting the area’s iconic waterwheels and learning to paddle a bamboo raft.

 

Day 4:
Today, you’ll have a short hike (5 km) through the valley and its picturesque rice fields, charming villages and enjoy a picnic, before returning to the Retreat.

 

Day 5:
You’ll have free time in the morning to enjoy your surroundings in your own style, before journeying back to your Hanoi Hotel.

 

Day 6:
(Saturday, 4th April) Today, your driver will pick you up to attend the day’s F1 qualifying rounds at the race site of My Dinh.

 

Day 7:
(Sunday, 5th April) Today is race day! Enjoy the historic spectacle Vietnam’s inaugural inclusion into the Formula One calendar and another welcome new addition to F1’s collection of ‘Street Racing’ events so personified by Monaco.

 

Day 8:
Today you’ll travel to the coast at Tuan Chau Port to board the ‘Ginger’ cruise, one of the most beautiful and modern vessels to ply the waters of Ha Long and Lan Ha Bays. Apart from sailing through the wonderful natural features of this iconic seascape, you’ll have a cycling excursion on Cat Ba Island.

 

Day 9:
You’ll wake up aboard your cruise ship, with an opportunity to partake in some onboard Tai Chi as you journey slowly back to the mainland through Ha Long Bay, anchoring up for some kayaking and close encounters with the bay’s magnificent rock formations. Returning to the mainland, you’ll be driven back to your Hanoi Hotel.

 

Day 10:
Your day will be free until it’s time for your driver to transfer you to the airport in good time for your onward of departure flight.
