TOUR PROGRAMME

Day 1:
Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, a performance of traditional Water Puppetry will ease you gently into Vietnamese culture.

Day 2:
A thorough guided exploration of the capital from its 11th century roots, visiting its historic highlights and cultural landmarks.

Day 3:
After breakfast, you’ll travel to the coast to board your cruise of the stunning natural wonder of Ha Long Bay staying on board overnight.

Day 4:
Your cruise of the magnificent seascape continues until around noon, when you will return to shore for your journey back to Hanoi.

Day 5:
Your morning will be free until your car arrives to take you to the airport for your flight to Hue. After settling in to your hotel, you’ll visit the famous Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market.

Day 6:
A cruise of the Perfume River will bring you to Thien Mu Pagoda, later visiting the Royal Tombs and attractive Garden houses. An evening dinner at one of the Garden Houses provides a peacefully perfect end to the day’s activities.

Day 7:
Passing through Danang, with a stop to visit the Cham Museum, you’ll arrive at Hoi An for Check-in, lunch and an afternoon tour of the remarkable UNESCO World Heritage town.

Day 8:
This morning, you’ll visit another World Heritage site, the Ancient Cham ruins at My Son, to discover the mysteries of this ancient civilisation, returning later to Hoi An where the remainder of the day will be your own.

Day 9:
With more free time to enjoy delightful Hoi An in the morning, you’ll be picked up for the afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh City and check-in to your hotel.

Day 10:
Today you’ll have a guided tour of Vietnam’s bustling southern city, visiting its landmarks and places of interest.

Day 11:
Travelling beyond the city, the awesome presence of the Mekong River sets the scene for an exploration of its waterways, orchards and craft villages, spending the night at Can Tho.

Day 12:
In the morning, Cai Rang floating market is profound insight into life upon the Mekong River. On the return journey to Ho Chi Minn City, a visit to the hybrid architectural styles of Vinh Trang Pagoda provides cultural perspective.

Day 13:
A morning drive to Cao Dai Holy See takes in the midday ceremony, prior to a visit to the wartime Cu Chi Tunnels, so instrumental in the Viet Cong struggle.

Day 14:
Your time will be free until you driver arrives for your transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport and your onward or departure flight.
