Mysterious Papua 6 Days

TOUR PROGRAMME

Day 1:
From Sentani Airport in Jayapura, fly to Wamena in Baliem Valley; visit Sinakma Village and Napua Hill with your guide, overnight in Wamena.
Day 2:
Tour traditional market in Jibama, hike from Kurulu to view salt spring, and view a Mummy of the Dani people in Jiwika Village before returning to Wamena.
Day 3:
Today see a mock battle and join a pig festival where food is cooked with hot stones in an earthen pit, then trek around Saroba Village.
Day 4:
Drive to Yetni Village for a 4-5 hr trek past villages and sweet potato fields, featuring great views of the valley.
Day 5:
Fly from Wamena to Sentani Airport in Jayapura, take a city tour including the MacArthur Monument and visit an island on Lake Sentani.
Day 6:
Free time until your guide arrives to transfer you to Sentani Airport for your departing flight.
