WHEN
IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT BALI?
Bali’s
temperatures are fairly uniform throughout the year, averaging 27º C in coastal
regions, with mountainous regions some 5º C cooler.
The
monsoon period, typified by rain, wind and high humidity occurs between October
and March, with rainfall levels peaking during January and February.
Most
travellers visit Bali during the dry season, between May and September, but it
is still possible to encounter occasional rain during these months,
particularly in the vicinity of Ubud, which will usually fall in a short heavy
burst, after which skies quickly clear.
In
Lombok, the weather scene is similar to that of Bali, but possesses a slightly warmer and more
consistent year round temperature as well as a slightly less defined winter rainfall
pattern.
The
weather of Komodo is similarly stable but can become very hot in October and
November.
