Vietnam Christmas Crafts and Arts 6 Days

TOUR PROGRAMME

Day 1:
Arriving at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be driven to your hotel. After some time to settle and relax, you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner at a good restaurant in a colonial era building.

 

Day 2:
(Saturday, November 16, 2019) This morning, you’ll visit the annual Craft Link Bazaar, hosted in Hanoi’s Museum of Ethnology which features skilled artisans from all the diverse ethic groups in Vietnam, where you mingle and discover all the quintessential crafts and their makers that make up Vietnam’s cultural heritage. This special event also extols the virtues of fair trade, sustainability, equality and good working practices. In the afternoon, you can either explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter, or visit Van Phuc Silk Village, where you can meet the inheritors of the silk weaving and Dying skills once the exclusive preserve of the Royal Court.

 

Day 3:
Today you’ll be driven to the extraordinary landscape of Ninh Binh, to enjoy a leisurely boat ride along the valley. After lunch, you’ll visit Van Lam Embroidery village, famed for its production of fine lace, fashioned into a wide product range. On the return journey to Hanoi, you’ll also visit a traditional lacquerware village with a heritage of excellence in their craft of over 500 years.

 

Day 4:
Today, you’ll head for the coast to board the President Cruise Ship, for a voyage around this stunningly magnificent seascape, exploring its wondrous array of natural features with an opportunity to do some kayaking in this amazing environment.

 

Day 5:
Waking up aboard your cruise vessel, to have the opportunity for some early morning Tai Chi, while you continue sailing the bay. You’ll also have a stop at Titoy Island where, if your feeling suitably energised, you can climb its stairway for a view over the bay. After docking back on the mainland, you’ll be driven back to Hanoi, stopping off at Bat Trang Village, famed for its fine ceramics.

 

Day 6:
Your time will be your own at leisure until it’s time for your private car to the airport for your departure or onward flight.
