Vietnam Golf and Culture 10 Days

TOUR PROGRAMME

Day 1:
Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be greeted and driven to your hotel, with time to settle in and relax, before a performance of traditional water puppetry and your welcome dinner.
Day 2:
A whole day’s guided exploration of the sights and sounds of Vietnam’s capital will visit the historic and cultural highlights of this thousand year old city.
Day 3:
Today you’ll be driven 70km to the east of Hanoi to play the international standard course of Chi Linh Star Golf and Country club, set in peaceful valley among scenic rolling hills, and encircling a natural lake which features strategically on many of its holes, some with island greens. An interesting and challenging round culminates with a daunting 5 par 680 yard uphill final hole. After your game, you’ll be driven to the coast and your Ha Long City hotel.
Day 4:
Today, you’ll have a four hour cruise of the UNESCO World Heritage area of Ha Long Bay, sailing around the inspiring natural formations of this vast and beautiful oceanic wonder, with a seafood lunch on board. After your cruise, you’ll be driven to the airport for your flight to Danang, and check-in to your hotel.
Day 5:
Designed by Scottish golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, the Montgomerie Links championship course reflects the character of the famous coastal courses of his homeland. Set near to the famous My Khe Beach and with the backdrop of the Marble Mountains, this outstanding course is a highly playable yet challenging golfing pleasure.
Day 6:
In the morning, you’ll be driven to the local market to select the ingredients for your Vietnamese cookery class and learning the art of Hoi An cuisine. In the afternoon, you’ll travel to the nearby ancient town of Hoi An, to explore this charming UNESCO World Heritage site, before returning to your Danang hotel.
Day 7:
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, with an afternoon tour of the city’s prominent landmarks and places of interest.
Day 8:
Travelling beyond the city, you’ll venture into the Mekong Delta and Cai Be, where you’ll cruise the along a stretch of the great river exploring its channels and imbibing the unique atmosphere of the local waterborne culture. Later, you’ll be driven deeper into the delta area to Can Tho and check-in to your hotel.
Day 9:
This morning, you’ll board a boat to navigate the delightful melee of Cai Rang floating market, a true insight into the local lifestyle, and one of the iconic experiences of Vietnam. Later, you’ll travel back to Ho Chi Minh City, with a stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda.
Day 10:
In the morning, you’ll travel to Song Be Golf Resort, Vietnam’s first Championship course, for a final round of golf on this challenging course. Later, you’ll be driven to Tan Son Nhat airport for your onward connection or departure flight.
